Town Beach and Sports Complex

The Bristol Town Beach and Sports Complex is located adjacent to Colt State Park on Asylum Rd., where you can enjoy a relaxing day that includes a picturesque view of Narragansett Bay and magnificent sunsets. Amenities include picnic tables, several varieties of stately shade trees, walking/bike trails, a playground, and a clean, sandy beach that offers the perfect reprieve from the heat of summer (water-shoes or aqua socks are recommended for swimming). Restrooms and outdoor showers (seasonal) are available and a pavilion is available for rent.

The sports complex offers baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, two multi-purpose fields, tennis and basketball courts, a street hockey rink, a bocce court, horseshoe pit, skate park, and restrooms. Ample parking is available year-round, but a parking fee is charged beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Season passes are available for purchase at the beach entrance booth beginning Memorial Day weekend and are issued to Bristol residents only. The fee for a season pass is $10 per vehicle and proof of residency is required. Season passes are not transferable between vehicles.

Parking fees: Bristol residents: $3 per vehicle Mon-Fri., and $5 per vehicle on weekends and holidays. 

All non-residents: $6 per vehicle Mon-Fri., $10 per vehicle on weekends and holidays. All transactions are cash only.

AS PER TOWN ORDINANCE: dogs, alcoholic beverages, charcoal, smoking, vaping, bonfires, and fire pits are NOT permitted on any sports field, in any picnic or parking area, or on the beach. This ordinance is strictly enforced.

Beach area closes at sundown daily.
