Most Senior Programs are organized through the Quinta-Gamelin Community Center.

Collaborative Events

The Bristol Parks and Recreation Department collaborates with the Senior Center for the following activities:
  • Senior picnic in August under the pavilion at the Bristol Town Beach
  • Senior Christmas Party
  • Senior dinner dance in the Spring
  • Luncheon at Wright's Farm Restaurant in Nasonville, RI
  • Weekly bowling program at Dudek Lanes
  • Field trips to Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), New York City, McCoy Stadium, and other places of interest.


Our senior bowling program is held on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. at Dudek Lanes Bowling in Warren. The cost is $4 and includes 3 games and shoes. If you would like to join us, call the Senior Center at 401-253-8458.

What Will Happen If Something Happens to You?
This informative seminar will explore the topic of simple wills, power of attorney, and health care directives. Geared toward those without a will or do not have medical power of attorney. This presentation is followed by free individual consultations. The topic of trusts will not be covered. Sponsored by the RWU School of Law. Free and open to everyone. April 5 at 1pm at the Community Center. Pre-registration is not required.

ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE is not a normal part of aging. This seminar will provide information on detection, causes, risk factors, detection, treatment, and much more.
