Dumping Fees |

The first 200 pounds of waste or portion thereof will be assessed a fee of $10.00 The total rate is $100.00 per ton. |
Special Item Rates |
$15.00 per item |
The following items will be charged at the State of Rhode Island disposal rate of $15.00 per item: mattresses, box springs, and any other items that may be necessary. |
Special Pickups |
$25.00 per item |
Special pickups can be arranged for furniture, rugs, appliances, gym equipment, hot water heaters, and any other item as determined by the Public Works Director. |
Special Pickups with Freon |
$35.00 per item |
Special pickups can be arranged for refrigerators, coolers, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers. These items are NOT accepted at the Bristol Transfer Station/Landfill. To arrange for a special pickup for items with freon, go to the DPW office during normal business hours. |
Propane Tanks |

Propane tanks are NOT ACCEPTED at all. |

The following items are accepted at the Transfer Station without charge: cardboard, mixed recyclables and paper. |
Compost disposal |

Disposal of compost disposal is free to Bristol homeowners. COMMERCIAL COMPOST IS STILL SUBJECT TO FEES. |
