Public Participation at Council Meetings
- The Public forum shall be at the end of the meeting.
- No issue discussed during the regular agenda of the Town Council is to be addressed during the Public Forum
- Issues are limited to substantive town business. NO COMMENTS REGARDING PERSONNEL OR JOB PERFORMANCE ARE ALLOWED AND WILL BE RULED OUT OF ORDER
- Total time allotted for the Public Forum is fifteen minutes. Please be as brief as possible so as to allow fellow citizens an opportunity to speak.
- No one individual is to be allowed the floor for more than five minutes.
- Citizens are to complete the "Public Participation Form" and submit to the Town Clerk prior to the start of the meeting.
- Rulings regarding the interpretation of this policy are left to the discretion of the Chairman.
