We are a non-profit independent community based facility that offers meals, groceries, clothing and small household items. We provide a warm caring environment for socializing and volunteering. Our new director Ann Wiard manages the soup kitchen, food pantry and oversees clothing distribution. The board of directors and volunteers support her in her efforts to reach out into the communities of the East Bay. St. Michael's Church has afforded BGNSK & FP the necessary space for the last twenty plus years. The soup kitchen is open Monday through Friday, 8:00-2:00 PM. We offer a continental breakfast at 8:30 AM and lunch at 11:30 AM-12:00 PM. The Audrey Hepburn Food Pantry was established through a grant in her honor in 1992 and is open five days a week from 8:00-2:00PM. Clothing and small household items are also available to those in need. Come in and inquire about the opportunities-- volunteer, donate, hold a fundraiser, or our adopt-a-family program.
