Report a Street Light Outage

Street Light Out

We treat street light outages as a priority. Darkened roadways and intersections can lead to motor vehicle accidents, or injured pedestrians. In addition, well illuminated streets and roads lead to safer neighborhoods and are an inexpensive crime deterrent.

If you happen to see a street light out; or one that is obstructed by heavy tree canopy, you can report the outage directly to National Grid. National Grid is also interested in lights that cycle on and off, as well as those which remain on during the day which waste costly electricity.

You will need to provide National Grid the street where the pole is located, and the pole number located on the utility pole when you are reporting the damaged light.

Please use the web address below to connect to National Grid's webpage, or you can contact them 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, Toll-Free at 1-800-322-3223.
